eSIM compatibility doesn’t depend on long device lists—it depends on your phone’s settings.
If your device is carrier-unlocked and shows an option to Add eSIM or displays an EID, it’s compatible.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We cannot guarantee compatibility with "eSIM SIM cards" such as eSIM.me, 5ber, 9eSIM, and the GL i-Net portable 4G LTE router.
Quick Compatibility Check
-
Check if your phone is unlocked
• iPhone: Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock = No SIM restrictions
• Android: Try another carrier’s SIM/eSIM, or check with your carrier -
Look for “Add eSIM” or an EID
• iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM (or “Add Cellular Plan”)
• Android: Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → + Add eSIM
• Or dial*#06#and look for EID - If both are true → your phone is compatible.
Examples of Compatible Devices
(Not a complete list—use the steps above to be sure)
- Apple iPhone: XS and newer (except most Mainland China models)
- Google Pixel: 4 and newer (most variants)
- Samsung & other Android flagships: If you see Add eSIM or an EID, it works
👉 New models launch often—the best check is always on your phone itself.
Special Cases
- China-market iPhones Most iPhones sold in Mainland China do not support eSIM. Check your device settings to confirm.
- US carrier variants Some US-carrier branded Android devices disable eSIM in software. If you do not see an EID or Add eSIM option, the variant is not compatible.
Troubleshooting
- Don’t see “Add eSIM” or EID? Your device or variant is not eSIM-capable.
- Locked phone? Contact your carrier to unlock before using eSIM.
