Android phones typically have the APN set when the eSIM is downloaded, however, if there is an issue with the APN, please follow the instructions below to create and activate an APN entry for GigSky services.
Method 1:
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Network and Internet.
- Tap Mobile Networks.
- Tap the GigSky eSIM.
- Tap Advanced.
- Tap Access Point Names.
- Tap the Menu (the 3 dots on the top right).
- Tap "Reset to Default" (this will delete the APNs there).
- Tap "New APN".
- In the Name field, add "gigsky" (all lower-case and without quotation marks), and in the APN field add "gigsky" (all lower-case and without quotation marks).
- Tap Menu (the 3 dots on the top right).
- Tap Save.
Method 2:
- Go to Settings.
- Search for "Access Point Names" on the search bar.
- Tap Access Point Names for the GigSky eSIM.
- Tap the Menu (the 3 dots on the top right).
- Tap "Reset to Default" (this will delete the APNs there).
- Tap "New APN".
- In the Name field, add "gigsky" (all lower-case and without quotation marks), and in the APN field add "gigsky" (all lower-case and without quotation marks).
- Tap Menu (the 3 dots on the top right).
- Tap Save.
