If you are upgrading your iPhone eSIM enable iPhone to a new eSIM enabled iPhone and you have a GigSky data plan on the old phone and have done a backup and restore to the new iPhone, there are a few things to consider;
Do you have and want to keep your old phone?
- If there is a data plan, and you would like to continue to use the data plan on the old phone, you will have to purchase a new data plan on the new phone.
- If there is a currently active data plan and you would like to use that data plan on the new phone, please contact GigSky Support at firstname.lastname@example.org. We can provide a refund so you may purchase a new data plan on the new phone.
If you are migrating from one phone to a new phone;
- If there are no active data plans on the device, please go to the GigSky App and Delete All Data Plans. This will remove all the information about the eSIMs on the account and allow you to purchase a new data plan and download a new eSIM
- If you have an active data plan, please contact GigSky Support and email@example.com. We will reassign a new eSIM to your new phone to allow you to download a new eSIM to your phone.
