Dear Customer,
To help keep your GigSky account more secure, we are introducing multi-factor authentication (MFA) from Monday, April 20. You'll be required to update your GigSky app to enable this feature.
MFA adds an extra step when signing in by asking you to enter a one-time code sent to your email. This helps protect your account even if someone else gets access to your password.
We are making this change because passwords alone are no longer enough to protect online accounts. Adding MFA helps reduce the risk of unauthorized access and gives you greater protection for your personal information and account activity.
We know that security features should also be simple to use. That is why we are introducing email-based MFA as an easy, familiar option that does not require you to install an authenticator app.
What this means for you:
- When you open the GigSky app for the first time after April 20, you will be prompted to update the app to the latest version and then required to sign in again, verifying your identity with a one-time code.
- From then on, you may be asked to verify your identity with a one-time code when you sign in or during certain security-related actions, such as resetting your password or changing your email address on file.
- The code will be sent to your email address on file.
- This extra step helps us confirm that it is really you accessing your account.
We are introducing this update as part of our ongoing commitment to protecting your account and improving your security experience.
Thank you for choosing GigSky.
Best,
The GigSky Team
