Incompatible mobile Wi-Fi Hotspots

In order for our service to work properly, the device you use must be GSM-compatible, and capable of receiving SMS messages. Some devices, in particular devices sold in Japan and the USA (Sprint / Verizon), do not meet these requirements and are therefore incompatible with our service.

Several users have reported issues when using our SIM in particular devices. This article lists the devices that have proved to be incompatible with our SIM card.

AnyDATA GL02P Pocket Wi-Fi (available through E-Mobile)

  • Our customers have reported various issues, including "Invalid SIM" alerts and an inability for the device to switch to the correct network.

Huawei E5331, E586

  • In some locations, this hotspot will not switch the SIM card to the correct network and there will be no data connection.

Infinity Wireless IW-033, 3G PiFi

  • In some locations, this hotspot will not switch the SIM card to the correct network and there will be no data connection.

LG L-02F mobile hotspot (available through NTT docomo)

  • This device doesn't not recognize our SIM card and displays the message "Invalid UIM".

LG L-03E mobile hotspot (available through NTT docomo)

  • In some locations, this hotspot will not switch the SIM card to the correct network and there will be no data connection.

LG L-09C mobile hotspot (available through NTT docomo)

  • In some locations, this hotspot will not switch the SIM card to the correct network and there will be no data connection.

ZTE MF30, MF60, MF61

  • In some locations, this hotspot will not switch the SIM card to the correct network and there will be no data connection

Novatel MiFi 500 LTE / MiFi 5580 (Sprint USA)

  • This is a CDMA device, and is not compatible with the networks that we use.
