Intermittent connectivity issues for some GigSky customers

Our service partners have reported that all their connections with Syniverse have been restored, so all GigSky customers should now have data connectivity. We're continuing to monitor the situation, along with our service partners.

If you continue to experience connectivity issues, please power cycle your device and test again. If there are still issues, please open a ticket with our Support team at help@gigsky.com.

Syniverse is continuing to make progress with restoring signaling connections to their service partners. They have not provided an estimate for when their service will be fully restored.

We have been advised that IPX provider Syniverse is making progress on resolving the issue. It could still be several hours before service is restored.

The Syniverse incident has not been resolved. Connectivity continues to be intermittent. Our service providers are in communication with Syniverse, and working with them to resolve the issue.

Syniverse has issued the following statement: "We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused many people. Please know that we are working around the clock to resolve this issue. Our technical teams are collaborating with our mobile network operator partners worldwide to identify and rectify the root cause of the disruption. We are deploying all necessary resources to restore regular service as quickly as possible. We will keep you updated as soon as we have more to share."

We are seeing connectivity being restored for customers who were impacted by this issue. If you experiencing connectivity issues, please power cycle your device. This should restore service.

IPX provider Syniverse is experiencing an issue that is causing degraded service for many roaming subscribers around the world. This also impacts our service providers and many of the local carriers that we use to provide our data service. Consequently, some GigSky customers will be finding that their data connectivity is intermittent.

Due to the widespread nature of this incident, intermittent connectivity for our customers will continue until Syniverse restores full service. It has not made available a resolution time yet. We will make available all progress updates as we get them.
