Can I use my GigSky plan on a new device?
Yes! If you're switching to a new phone or another eSIM-compatible device, you can continue using your GigSky plan.
You'll simply need to remove the eSIM from your old device and install a new GigSky eSIM on your new device.
How to switch your GigSky eSIM to a new device
Step 1: Remove the eSIM from your old device
Open your device's Settings.
Navigate to Cellular/Mobile Data or SIM Manager, depending on your device.
Select your GigSky eSIM.
Choose Delete eSIM or Remove eSIM.
Important: Make sure you're removing only your GigSky eSIM, not your primary mobile carrier's SIM.
Step 2: Sign in to GigSky on your new device
Download and open the GigSky app on your new device.
Sign in using the same GigSky account you used on your previous device.
Navigate to My Plans.
Select the plan you want to use.
Step 3: Install your new GigSky eSIM
On your selected plan, tap Install eSIM.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install your new GigSky eSIM.
Once installation is complete, enable your GigSky eSIM when you're ready to use your plan.
That's it! You can continue using your GigSky plan on your new device.
What if I installed my eSIM on the wrong device?
No worries! You don't need to purchase another plan or contact Support.
You can install your GigSky eSIM on the correct device by following these steps:
Delete the GigSky eSIM from the device where it was originally installed.
Open the GigSky app on the device you want to use.
Sign in to your existing GigSky account.
Go to My Plans and select your plan.
Tap Install eSIM and follow the on-screen instructions.
Your plan will remain associated with your GigSky account, so you can continue using it on the correct device.
Important: Your new device must be eSIM-compatible and carrier-unlocked.
Purchased a plan for the wrong device?
If you selected the wrong device when purchasing your plan, you can request a self-refund through the GigSky app or web app.
After your refund is processed:
Purchase the plan again.
During checkout, select the correct Target Device.
Install the new eSIM on your new device.
This ensures the eSIM is assigned to the correct device.
Good to know
Your plan stays with your GigSky account. Whether you're switching devices or correcting an installation on the wrong device, you don't need to purchase a new plan.
Your remaining data and plan validity stay the same. Installing a new eSIM doesn't reset your data allowance or extend your plan's expiration date.
Remove the eSIM from your previous device. Before installing a new GigSky eSIM, delete the existing one from the old or incorrectly selected device.
Use the same GigSky account. Sign in on your new device to access your existing plans under My Plans.
You'll need an internet connection. We recommend connecting to Wi-Fi when downloading and installing your new eSIM.
Check device compatibility. Your new device must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked to use GigSky.
You can replace your GigSky eSIM up to two times. If you've reached the replacement limit or can't find the "Install eSIM" option, please contact GigSky Support.
